Kaizen Wealth Advisors offers a discretionary, fee-only approach to managing your assets. Kaizen Wealth Advisors, together with our clients, hires the best and most appropriate money managers to make the day-to-day decisions related to your accounts. Most likely, you do not have the time, expertise or the desire to watch things day in and day out to adequately hold your asset management accountable to you. That's what we do! Kaizen is a fee-only registered investment advisor. We are compensated on a percentage of assets under management basis. Our compensation is based upon the best interests and the success of our clients.

Clients' interests must always come first and we must continue to do right by our clients every day, otherwise, we stop being paid. The only way our compensation increases is if your account value goes up, you entrust us with additional assets or you refer others to us. Isn't that the way it should be? You, as a client, know exactly what to expect from us and everything is transparent, meaning that nothing is hidden or buried in fine print or "legalese." You and Kaizen should remain "on the same side of the table," working together for shared goals.

For a more holistic or comprehensive approach, Kaizen also offers a planning system that creates a financial model that contains all aspects of your financial life. Together with your wealth advisor, you will have a tool to measure and coordinate each and every money decision in your life. Our purpose will be to achieve financial efficiency and be effective in moving you toward financial independence. Your decisions will be based on an organized and integrated approach to planning. Your first step to getting on the model is to complete a Questionnaire and/or Cash Flow Analysis Worksheet.

Our wealth objectives will include the following:

• Passing on your wealth according to your desires
• Creating a plan that will work under as many circumstances as possible

As your advisor, you should want us to be in a position to know about and to evaluate all areas of your financial life including, but not limited to, your investments, liabilities, savings, life insurance, health insurance coverage, disability protection, long-term care protection, property & casualty insurance coverage, tax planning, college planning and estate planning. Kaizen will not prepare your taxes, draft your legal documents or provide you with homeowners and auto insurance. Rather, we are available to work together with other professionals to make sure you have appropriate coverage and are efficient as possible. Kaizen is happy to refer you to qualified professionals in these areas if you are not already satisfied with a current relationship. Your financial decisions will no longer be made one at a time or made without considering how the decision affects other areas of your financial life.

Kaizen's wealth advisors, in their individual capacities, may also be licensed insurance agents with various insurance companies, and in such capacity, may recommend, on a fully disclosed commission basis, the purchase of certain insurance products. While Kaizen does not sell such insurance products to its investment advisory clients, we do permit our wealth advisors, in their individual capacities as licensed insurance agents, to utilize insurance products for our investment advisory clients. Auditing a client's current insurance products for appropriateness and determining insurance needs are significant parts of our planning process. Our advisors can provide solutions in the following insurance areas:

• life insurance including both term and permanent
• health insurance
• long-term care insurance
• disability insurance
• critical insurance

For other types of insurance such as health, homeowners, auto and umbrella coverage, your advisor will defer to outside experts and assist in integrating/coordinating your coverage within your financial plan.
